Orthalon legal
Cookie Notice
Draft updated: October 13, 2026. Subject to professional review before adoption.
This notice explains cookies and similar storage used by Orthalon's website and account application. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. The operator's legal entity and contact details must be finalized before adoption.
What these technologies do
Cookies are small records a website stores in your browser. Session cookies normally end with a browser session; persistent cookies remain until expiry or deletion. Local storage can remain until you clear it. Both can remember settings or identifiers. A cookie is not inherently anonymous.
Current categories
| Category | Purpose and examples | Duration and control |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication and security | Session, sign-in, and authentication-flow cookies allow access to an account and help protect it. Names can have a secure prefix or vary with the sign-in method. | The configured account-session lifetime is up to 30 days, subject to renewal and revocation; temporary authentication-flow cookies can expire earlier. Sign out or clear site data. |
| Language | NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language selected for the site. | Currently set without an explicit persistent expiry; normally a session cookie. Change the language or clear site data. |
| Display preferences | Browser storage remembers theme and application navigation preferences, such as sidebar-collapsed. | Until replaced or cleared. Change the preference or clear site data. |
| Consent preference, if present | The consent component can store consent to remember a choice. | 30 days when set. The current site does not present that component as an active consent banner. |
The current application's selected analytics component does not load an analytics provider. The presence of unused analytics integrations in the software does not mean that every provider is active. This notice does not claim that advertising cookies, session replay, Flash storage, or tracking pixels are deployed.
Our hosting, security, payment, or identity providers may use technologies needed for their own service flows. Third-party sign-in and checkout pages have their own privacy notices. Their actual cookies, lifetimes, and any hosting-dashboard tracking additions must be checked in the deployed site before this draft is adopted.
Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and other site data in your browser's privacy settings. Blocking authentication cookies may prevent sign-in. Clearing local storage resets display preferences. Choices apply separately to each browser and device.
We do not offer a functioning optional-cookie preference dashboard in the current site. Before adding non-essential analytics, advertising, or replay, Orthalon must provide the required notice and controls, and obtain consent where required. A link to this notice is not consent.
Extension and desktop storage
The browser extension and desktop app also keep operational data, such as credentials, policy cache, settings, and pending security records. That is distinct from website marketing tracking. The organization's deployment and retention settings affect this storage. See the Privacy Policy for prompt evidence, session titles, and file inspection.
Contact and changes
For questions, contact security@orthalon.com. This contact must be confirmed as monitored before adoption. We will update this notice when the technologies or their purposes change.
